A reliable source is tweeting there is a rumour floating around about JoJuan Armour heading to the Lions. I sure hope this means the club is looking to adjust the defensive scheme, which has clearly been ineffective against the run. It's just too bad we had to lose Jamall Johnson before realizing it. :bang

sounds good....move Korey Banks back to secondary where he is dominant!
Lots of time left to turn this season around...just very embarrassing start for a defense with so much experience.

Sweet. Although I think Nande is being being under utilized, a player with Armours' talent and swagger at MLB is much needed.....if anything it moves Glatt to SAM where he'll be more effective.

I agree, I hope to see Glatt's role revised. Armour does bring a nastiness and attitude our linebackers are sorely lacking right now. I'm heading to practice this morning, so I hope Armour is on the field.

The Globe and Mail says Armour was signed with the Lions today:

VANCOUVER — The Canadian Press Last updated on Monday, Aug. 03, 2009 01:03PM EDT

Linebacker JoJuan Armour is back with the B.C. Lions.

The CFL club re-signed the veteran Monday, along with running back A.J. Harris and Canadian defensive lineman James Edwards.

Armour spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons with B.C. before being dealt to Hamilton. After two seasons with the Ticats, the six-foot, 225-pound linebacker joined the Calgary Stampeders and helped the team capture the '08 Grey Cup before being release prior to the start of the '09 campaign.

The six-foot, 225-pound Harris spent last season with the Edmonton Eskimos. He registered 557 yards rushing on 99 carries and adding 37 catches for 422 yards before being released in April.

Edwards, a Hamilton native, led the McMaster Marauders in sacks in 2006 and 2007. The six-foot-two, 209-pound was an OUA second-team all-star last season.

Just heard Juan on the TEAM and he let it slip that he will be starting at MLB, fianally Wally has realized Glatt can't play the middle. Hopefully thay go back to a 4-3-5 instead of that failed experiment with a 4-2-6 and put Banks back beside Marsh.

Good start. Replacing Glatt with Armour puts pressure on our ratio, but it simply had to be done. Armour brings experience and grit to a group that desperately needed some.
